Zaloom's is a gem on Staten Island - a small, family-owned shop that is honest, with fair prices, and attentive to its customers. Everyone who works there is friendly!
I've been coming to Zaloom's for about two years now, and their service has always been top notch. And if your knowledge of cars is limited (as is mine!) They will hold your hand and explain in detail every recommended procedure.
Had a previous negative experience, but the owner honestly went above and beyond to rectify the situation. I'm actually really pleasantly surprised. A lot of mechanics on Staten will rip you off or try to make a quick buck -- I don't feel like that's the case with these guys. Would recommend Zaloom's to others -- owner really cares about the customers!
Happy with the service on my vehicle but was told it would be about an hour and a half; so it really through our plans off for the day when we came back 3 hours later and it wasn't ready. I don't live in the neighborhood, so it make for an additional trip back and forth.
