Excellent service as always... I can always count on Gemma to get me up and running when I need it the most. Highly highly recommended!

I do most of the work on my cars myself, but when the water pump went on my chrysler pacifica I knew this was a job that I didn't have the time, tools or space to tackle. I did an Internet search, and saw that Zaloomie Car Care had by far the best customer reviews on Staten Island. I brought it down to them at noon on a Friday to have it looked at, and they got back to me by 3 confirming that I did in fact have a bad water pump. They also told me about a few other issues I had with the vehicle, but as the rest of those I could handle myself, I told them to just go ahead with my water pump, timing belt and thermostat since they would be minimal additional labor. I was quoted a price of around $900 which is very reasonable for a job of this magnitude. I got the call on Monday at around 4 pm that my car was ready. My wife went down with cash to pick it up. As there was a little bit of a discount for being first time customers and paying in cash the bill was less than the quote over the phone. The staff seemed professional and courteous.

Truly Great customer service is hard to find but that's what you get with Zalooms. They do the job right and clearly take great pride in treating their customers right. I only wish I'd found them earlier! Highly recommended.

This is by far the absolute best auto repair shop I have ever been too. I absolutely love this place. This is the best repair staff that I have ever meet and talked to. they are really friendly and give you the feeling that they want to help you out and do it as cheap as possible while using only the highest quality parts. I showed up to Zaloom's auto repair and was greeted by Joe who had a smile on his face and listened to me explain my break issues. The waiting area is a little small and it was a little busy when I got there. Ed the Service manager was talking with a customer and once he found out the customer was prior military he started sharing his experience while serving in the military as well. It was a really cool conversation to listen too. Ed was also on the phone getting quotes on parts that the customer needed. Before the customer left the store he shared a couple of pictures with Ed of when he served and gave Ed a handshake and thanked him for all the work. As soon as I got a chance to talk to Ed I let him know that I was in the military and we started sharing some stories . It was really cool. It took a little bit longer then they where expecting before they would be able to inspect my truck. So knowing this Joe offered to buy me a free coffee at Starbucks which is conveniently located about a block up the street. I was a little surprised at the generosity and accepted the offer. Once I got my truck inspected I received a call from Ed and he thoroughly explained what the exact problem was with my breaks and notified me about how long the repairs would take and what they would be doing to my truck. I agreed and decided to hang out in Starbucks for a little while and then walk around for a bit. I was in no rush and knew that my brakes needed to be fixed. I went back to Zaloom's about a half an hour before my truck was suppose to be ready and started talking with Ed again and to my surprise he offered to bring me into the shop and show me exactly what the problem was, what the old parts looked like and what the new parts looked like. I was shocked at what my old parts looked like and glad when I saw the new parts that where being put into my truck. We talked for just a little bit longer and Ed explained exactly what they did, how much time it took and how much each part / labor cost. They even give military discount. This is by far the best auto shop I have ever been to and cannot wait till I have any repair / maintenance issue because I know where I will be going. Thanks again Ed and Joe for everything it really made my day.

This is a wonderful, honest, courteous, friendly, efficient family-run (and family-like) business that really lives up to and actually goes beyond its 5 star reviews. I brought my car in for inspection last week and also because there was clearly a problem with new brakes I had gotten several months ago. Joe listened patiently as I explained the issues I had been having with the breaks. It turned out that the repair place I had previously taken my car to and to which I had also returned to have them check the brakes, had never properly installed the rear brakes. I was given a two-hour estimate for the repairs, and in two hours they were finished with fixing the breaks as well as the alignment and cleaning the headlights. Ed, the service manager, also took his time to answer all my questions about these and other possible future repairs even though it was clear that the shop was very busy. This is the kind of place where a customer stops by to drop off a card and Christmas gift for them, and they also give a nice little holiday gift to their customers, even a new one like me. Not to mention the fact that while I was waiting, I mentioned that I was going to walk over to the Starbuck's to sit and do some work, and Joe actually offered me a card to buy a coffee while I waited which was another pleasant surprise.I am a single woman who has always dreaded having to bring my car to the mechanic (I always felt like I was being talked down to or getting ripped off), but now that I have found Zaloom's, I will never, ever bring my car to another mechanic (I just moved to Queens, and yes, I will be driving back to SI when I need some work done). Don't bother going anywhere else-go to Zaloom's. It's not hype; it's the perfect example of a well-run family business that gives their customers A+ service and that goes the extra mile. You can tell that not only in the way the staff deal with customers, but also by the pleasant atmosphere amongst customers in the waiting room. Thank you, Zaloom's and Happy Holidays!

Went in to have a nail removed from my tire. The service was quick and everyone was super. I was with my young son and they entertained him with a snowflake to color. By the time he finished, they had my car ready. I would definitely return and recommend them.

Everything went smoothly. Ed Magee was very understanding of my situation and worked with me in a way that satisfied everybody. I even got a bag of pistachios!
