Zaloom was very through. I brought the car in to have a tire plugged and switch replaced. They showed me that two tires really needed to be replaced. I asked if I should get all four done, but they were honest and showed that the front tires were still fine. Additionally, instead of replacing the broken switch (which they already got in for me,) they were able to fix it for a fraction of the price.

Hands down the best auto repair/care shop, period! No gimmicks, no showmanship and nothing fancy but simply honest expert excellent work coupled with amazing customer service. Ed and Joe are upfront with what can and cannot be done as well what should and should not be done. I am now a repeat customer and plan to have Zaloom as my "go to" mechanic. Zaloom has redefined the old adage of "you get what you pay for". At Zaloom, what you paid is not only a fixed vehicle, in my opinion, you also get back a WHOLE LOT MORE what money cannot buy: peace of mind, trust, care for your investment . . . PRICELESS!

I am new to Staten Island, and I needed a NYS inspection and general service maintenance on my pickup. I tried twice to book an appointment online at two other "name" places, but I never heard back from either one. Fortunately, I discovered the Zaloom's website and tried booking a appt. with them. Ed is very helpful and genuine. They are truthful about what needs to be fixed and will even show you why and whats wrong.

I had to drop off my car for NYS inspection on short notice. I also needed a mirror replaced (I had the used part). All work was done pretty much immediately. Best quality, friendly service, and fair price. Thank you, Zaloom's!

Went for an inspection. Staff was very friendly. There was coffee and pastries provided. I was in and out in about 20 minutes, which was great! I will definitely be back for any service that needs to be done on my car!
