Took my car here today based on Yelp reviews. My first time ever going to a mechanic. The whole staff seems super friendly and helpful. Upon arrival i was greeted by Joe Zaloom, I told him i wanted to get my brakes checked because i thought they were due for servicing. He told me he would have my car throughout the day which was fine because i live close. He called me later in the day and was honest with me and told me that my brakes were perfectly fine and everything checked out. He recommended i do a brake flush and an oil change and i gave him the Ok. At the end of the day when i went to pick up my car he was super helpful and walked me through everything which he didn't have to do since they were closing up. In the end they gained themselves a new customer in me and i will be recommending them to everyone i know. Thanks!

Having four cars in the family, I am no stranger to Zaloomie Car Care shop. Over the years George has been extremely helpful, whether it be for a simple repair, a tire change or an oil check. More than just the helpfulness and the great work he does, most importantly, George is honest. No matter what I need for my cars, George is completely honest in telling me what it is they need, in the moment or in the future. Zaloom was very through. I brought the car in to have a tire plugged and switch replaced. They showed me that two tires really needed to be replaced. I asked if I should get all four done, but they were honest and showed that the front tires were still fine. Additionally, instead of replacing the broken switch (which they already got in for me,) they were able to fix it for a fraction of the price.

Hands down the best auto repair/care shop, period! No gimmicks, no showmanship and nothing fancy but simply honest expert excellent work coupled with amazing customer service. Ed and Joe are upfront with what can and cannot be done as well what should and should not be done. I am now a repeat customer and plan to have Zaloom as my "go to" mechanic. Zaloom has redefined the old adage of "you get what you pay for". At Zaloom, what you paid is not only a fixed vehicle, in my opinion, you also get back a WHOLE LOT MORE what money cannot buy: peace of mind, trust, care for your investment . . . PRICELESS!

Once again, a great experience at Zaloom's. No drama, they just do what they say they'll do - they call when they say they will, the price is the same the quote, and the car is ready when they say it will be ready. I'll won't take my car anywhere else for service.

I am new to Staten Island, and I needed a NYS inspection and general service maintenance on my pickup. I tried twice to book an appointment online at two other "name" places, but I never heard back from either one. Fortunately, I discovered the Zaloom's website and tried booking a appt. with them. They responded immediately, and we set up an appointment that worked best for me. So, right off the bat, I was impressed that they possessed a level of customer service that left any competitors in the dust. The service provided was expert and timely. Joe and Ed are friendly and professional. I felt extremely comfortable entrusting my vehicle to their care. It is a relief to know, that in this day and age, and in this city, I can always turn to Zaloomie Car Care for quality help.

Ed is very helpful and genuine. They are truthful about what needs to be fixed and will even show you why and whats wrong.
