Today, Jim Taddei (our expert mechanic) and I took to the parking lot outside the RepairPal office so he could "help" me install new wiper blades. And by "help" I mean, he installed them while I watched.
As I mention in the video, to find the proper wiper blades for your car, go to the vehicle manufacturer's website, your local dealer, your local auto parts store, or a store like Target or Walmart. There will be many blades to choose from, so be sure to look up the make, model, and year of your vehicle to find the correct wiper blades. On most cars, the two front wipers are different sizes, so do your research and make sure you get the right size as well.
As you can see in the video, Jim makes quick work of replacing the wiper blades and warns DIYers to be careful of cracking the windshield. If you fancy yourself a mechanical person, all you really need is a small screwdriver and you're set. If you're like me and are less mechanically inclined, have your buddy help you out or take your vehicle to the dealer.
